Thamarai (English: Lotus), is a Tamil soap opera that airs on Sun TV. The show continues to enjoy a successful run with almost 770 episodes aired as of June 2017, starting from November 2014. This show replaced another hit show of the same channel named Ilavarasi. It starred Neelima Rani, Nirosha and other Tamil stars.
The show is produced by Radaan Mediaworks whereas S. Anand Babu is the current director. Corel draw 10 portable free download. The show revolves around the life of Sneha Dwarkesh, played by Neelima Rani, a middle class working girl. Sneha lives with her aunt Raji, played by Nirosha. Sneha lost her mother when she was young, and her father serves jail for allegedly killing her. As a result, Sneha utterly despises her father.
However, she didn’t know that the man who’s in jail for mother’s murder is her father which is only revealed by her aunt, Raji. Later, Sneha falls in love with Dwarkesh, played by Ashwin. Dwarkesh is her cousin, and Dwarkesh’s father is her maternal uncle. Raghavan, Dwarkesh’s father, initially opposes the relationship because Sneha worked in the same company same as Rajiv, his elder son. Rajiv eloped with her rich girlfriend, Uma against his family’s wishes.
Dwarkesh and Sneha try to appeal to Raghavan but he does not budge. They both then decide marry secretly in the court. However, Uma knows this and reveals this to Raghavan and his family. However, her plan fails as Raghavan gets to know that Sneha is her sister, Kasthuri’s daughter and accepts her with open arms but he refuses to keep any touch with her father, Karunakaran, as he thinks that he is the one who killed his sister.
Sneha later gets to know that her father did not kill Kasthuri, her mother but Muthulakshmi did. Despite the revelation, Sneha is uneasy about mending the relationship. Meanwhile, Uma’s daughter turns against her mother because of her bad side and tells her that she will stay away from her until Sneha and her father get together. Sneha later accepts her father Karunakaran and they get together. However Karunakaran gets very sick. While the family is worried about him, doctors reveal he needs a kidney.
Sneha is ready to donate the kidney, but during the operation, she faints. It is revealed that Sneha becomes pregnant and will be unable to donate the kidney. She decides to abort the baby to save her father, but her husband Dwarkesh does not feel the same way. This creates a rift between them. The story is about Sneha, who is torn between her love for her father and her husband. Her life has been full of struggles that she has always overcome. Caught between the desire to save her father and her love for her husband, can Sneha have both?

Shilpa is an Indian Tamil television actress known for her appearances in the mega-hit serials like Thangamana Purushan on Kalaignar TV, Life OK’s drama serial Savithri, and Kanmaniyae on Sun TV. 1873 springfield trapdoor rifle serial numbers. Shilpa entered the television industry after she finished her studies in Holy Angels Convent and started as a television anchor. She changed her name to Shilpa after joining the Holy Angels Convent as a kind of attraction. She appeared with the name Shilpa. Then the network gave her the chance to work as an anchor after her classes. Since then, she got offers to do the Pambam Super-Hit Film Songs on Vijay TV. She also did few films at the beginning of her career; she has starred in movies like Priyamanavale where she appeared as the sister of Simran. Then she quickly shifted to doing television serials because she did not find her desired success in doing films and she preferred the fixed schedules of shooting the serials. She rose to fame in the popular Vijay TV serial, Chinna Chinna Aasai or Small Desires in English in 1994. Shilpa took a short hiatus when her mother got ill. She made a surprise comeback on Sun TV’s Chellamae.
Tamil Serial Actors
She played the role of AC Sivaranjini, a cop who changes the case to save her brother, Moorthy. She was also starred in K. Balachanders, Shanthi Nilayam, which was aired on Jaya TV. She played as a lobbyist and received a positive response from the audience. She also appeared on Sun TV’s, Vasantham where she played a negative character and spoke Tamil. Shilpa is a perfectionist, and she always makes sure that she does her homework before she signs on the serials she was in. She is the only television actress who likes to buy her own costumes for the different roles she portrays. In her role in the Tamil serial, Nimmadhi, she played the role of Nandini Devi and the whole production of the show praised her for her costume as a rich girl. Shilpa’s elder sister, Nirmala, supports her on her acting career, and she was the one behind Shilpa’s collection of costumes.
Shilpa also says that of all the serials that she did, Nimmadhi gave her a reputed name in the industry. She played the role of the rich Nandhini Devi, who desires to marry the son of her own aunt. The story evolves on the vindictive act of Nandhini, which destroys her upliftment. In the end, she dies as she offers her apologies to the whole family. Her character as Nandhini Devi gave her many opportunities to act in several television soaps. She did the serials like Bandham, Vennilamma on Gemini TV and Thamarai under the direction of Dhanraj. Shilpa has plans to direct television serials in the future if she is given a chance.
She also joined the reality dance show, Jodi Number One on STAR Vijay, along with Bharath Kalyan but they failed to win the prize.
